New radiology rooms

In 2017, the Children’s hospital renewed its radiology rooms, affording particular care to the design of the equipment and configuration of the premises.

The aim was to make these spaces friendly and welcoming, using the light and the arrangement of the equipment to positively influence the young patients being examined.

Each room is equipped with three differently sized sensors to facilitate the treatment. Certain types of software have been put in place such as bone removal; this image treatment makes the thoracic cage disappear, making it possible to better distinguish tissue without additional irradiation.

The radiology technician’s work is also facilitated thanks to a motor assist system for moving the equipment.
