The Neurosurgery Service of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences is dedicated to patients with neurosurgical cranial and spinal diseases. We offer a wide spectrum of neurosurgical treatments, whether elective or emergency.
As a university center, our team is made up of specialized neurosurgeons participating in cutting-edge research and multicenter partnerships. We benefit from some of the most advanced neurosurgical technologies in Europe, in particular thanks to the latest generation of intraoperative MRI.
We also collaborate with the Swiss Foundation for Innovation and Training in Surgery (SFITS), where we conduct clinical and basic science research, and regularly organize surgical training courses.
