Training for managers

To support managers and their teams in developing the quality of interpersonal relationships for harmonious collaboration.

The HUG intent on providing a workplace where all employees feel safe, both physically and psychologically. This is an important challenge when one considers the diversity of professions, cultures and the countless skills that come together within the institution.

The new leadership training program launched in 2021 was attended by 111 executives in 2022. This program aims to introduce a more contemporary management philosophy to the institution's executives. It is based on practical situations and places a great emphasis on sharing skills. Executives of all levels and professions learn how to use values as a lever for change to manage difficult situations.

A personalized support system

In addition to the leadership course, an individual support and coaching system has been set up. This system can be used by any manager wishing to develop interpersonal links within his/her team. The support strategy and actions are defined according to the team's needs. This may involve individual interviews or mediation, group coaching, workshops and/or presentations. In 2022, 40 people received individual coaching.

Succession planning

In order to identify and support employees with a high potential for development and the desire to take on new functions, the Care Department and the Human Resources Department have worked together to develop and deploy the internal program "Succession of care-team leaders". In 2022, this program resulted in the training and hiring of twelve people as care-team leaders.
