In the field of cancer, many new medical treatments are developed each year. These new drug molecules, which are not yet available on the market, represent a significant hope for patients, as long as they are able to access them. This is exactly what the Hematology/Oncology Clinical Research Unit at the Dr. Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti (DFDL) Foundation does, within the same cancer center: by following rigorous protocols and within the scope of clinical trials, it provides adult patients suffering from hematology/oncology diseases with access to new drugs.
This unit was inaugurated on September 22, 2010, and was founded on the common desire of the main stakeholders in clinical oncology and hematology research at the Geneva University Hospitals, and at the Dr. Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti (DFDL) Foundation.
