Mission of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division
- The care and treatment of patients suffering from diseases of the digestive tract, liver, biliary tract and pancreas in terms of diagnostics and non-surgical therapeutics, taking into account services provided by the other divisions of HUG
- Carry out interventional endoscopy, percutaneous and transhepatic procedures of the above organs
- Patients can be inpatients or outpatients. In the latter case, they are dealt with at a standard consultation by their attending physician
