Anal condylomas

Anal condylomas (anal warts) are growths of tissue in the anal and perineal areas caused by the papillomavirus .

About 30% of these lesions resolve spontaneously after several months. However, some condylomas present a risk of cancer and require monitoring, or even their removal.

Several types of treatments, including the application of a cream, cryotherapy (by liquid nitrogen), laser and surgical resection, are possible.
