Your stay in our Private division is billed on the basis of :
- a daily rate for the hotel services
- a DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups) rate for the care.
The daily rate is billed per day (including days of arrival and departure).
The DRG rate (rate on a case-by-case basis) concerns acute somatic care. It is based on the grouping and ranking of hospital stays into groups of pathologies, known as DRGs. Each DRG has a corresponding number of points.
On your Private division bill, your diagnosis will appear in the form of a code. If you do not wish your insurer to know this code, you should inform your HUG doctor. The code will then be sent only to your insurer’s medical adviser. It will not appear on your bill.
